We started with basic Pin-Yin.
Now,students can read a Chinese word as long as there is Pin-Yin with it.
Each student also has his own Chinese name.
They can read and write their names in Chinese now.
After we leaving Philippines, they can learning Chinese from the textbook by themselves.

Students can also sing Chinese songs and hymns.
The “hottest” hymn is No.10.
We often hymned this song after prayer,in Chinese,of course!
The hottest children rhyme is “big head”.
Oh! They love the song!
They also can sing “two tigers”,”In Lord Jesus we are one family”……etc.

In Chinese conversation class,
they have already used those sentences learned from class in daily life,
such as “good morning”,”hello”,”thank you for your help”,”goodbye”……etc.
Everyday, students interacted with each other by speaking Chinese.

Those young people coming back from STTC attended the class only for 2~3 days.
They could put on a play, too!
They studied hard and learned fast.

Language is amazing tool!
It shortens the distance between people.
When you greet a foreigner with his language, even just saying “Hello”,
it could make you more friendly to him.
It’s the beginning of preaching the gospel to Chinese people.
