There is no Chinese believer in Philippines,so Manila church make efforts in preaching to Chinese.
Deaconess Anna prayed God to send someone to teach them Chinese.
And then,here we are!
Is this coincidence?
No,I think it is God answered her prayer.
(Press the red words to continue…)
This is the schedule of the Chinese tuition course.
As you can see, there are Chinese lesson, bible reading and evangelism.
Besides, there are evening self-study,examination and assignment.
This is not summer camp, this is school!

We started with basic Pin-Yin.
Now,students can read a Chinese word as long as there is Pin-Yin with it.
Each student also has his own Chinese name.
They can read and write their names in Chinese now.
After we leaving Philippines, they can learning Chinese from the textbook by themselves.

Students can also sing Chinese songs and hymns.
The “hottest” hymn is No.10.
We often hymned this song after prayer,in Chinese,of course!
The hottest children rhyme is “big head”.
Oh! They love the song!
They also can sing “two tigers”,”In Lord Jesus we are one family”……etc.
In Chinese conversation class,
they have already used those sentences learned from class in daily life,
such as “good morning”,”hello”,”thank you for your help”,”goodbye”……etc.
Everyday, students interacted with each other by speaking Chinese.
Those young people coming back from STTC attended the class only for 2~3 days.
They could put on a play, too!
They studied hard and learned fast.

The kids were so concentrative on the class.
Their pronunciation was even better than adults.

Erickson who was 11 years old studied very hard.
He often borrowed the textbook from me to learn more.
One day,he sat on the stairs alone and studied Chinese
He really loved reading.

That was closing ceremony!
congratulations,graduate!

Language is amazing tool!
It shortens the distance between people.
When you greet a foreigner with his language, even just saying “Hello”,
it could make you more friendly to him.
It’s the beginning of preaching the gospel to Chinese people.

Did you hear the calling from Philippines?
They are calling out “We want to learn Chinese!”
Thank to the support from the Dorcas love mission and Sabah G.A,
you made their dream come true!
